Community Cat Club is Buying a Home!

Chelsea D

Okay everyone. We have a HUGE ask. It's going to be all hands on deck!

We have the opportunity to purchase the perfect location for Community Cat Club HQ. This space just recently came on the market and is perfect for what we want and need in a forever home for CCC.

This space has so much potential. Here's our vision :

  • an adoption lounge

  • isolation space

  • community cat surgery recovery space

  • residence for caretakers

  • kitten nursery

  • lots of storage space

This location would be the first of its kind in Camden County, a welfare facility dedicated entirely to cats that will also be open to the public! There will be adoption events, workshops, community outreach events, offering a community pet pantry and so much more!

Why we need this

Community Cat Club started in 2020 with the mission to help cats and the people caring for them in South Jersey. Over the years we have helped thousands of cats (over a thousand in 2024 alone). Our intake and TNR numbers have been rapidly increasing year over year, which means we've quickly outgrown out current location.

This space isn't just a want, it's a need. Our service numbers show the true extent of the overpopulation crisis in Camden County and the surrounding communities in South Jersey. If we can move into a larger, multi-use space, it will truly help us help so many more cats and people in our community.

How you can help

The property is listed at $389,000. We have an amazing anonymous donor willing to donate $100,000 and are hoping to match, if not surpass that to help use secure the property in addition to performing some minor repairs and necessary changes to build out what we need.

We've started a fundraiser and hope that you all will consider donating towards the purchase of this property and everything that goes along with it. So far we've been able to raise just over $1000 in donations which is so exciting but we have a long way to go!

Please check out our campaign and consider adding your contribution. No amount is too small. But we know it's the holidays and money is tight so if you can't spare anything at the moment, the next best thing you can do is share our campaign on Instagram and Facebook with your friends, family, in your local neighborhood circles... anywhere! The farther this goes, the better chance we have of raising the amount needed to for our new headquarters.

If you choose to donate outside of this link please include in the notes that it is for the building.

Put your name on the place!

Whether you're an individual or a business, we have some incredible ways to be a part of our new home through your generosity.

Thank you all for getting this far. Community Cat Club is entirely volunteer run. Thank you and Happy Holidays to you and your families!

Love,

The CCC Team
